Ing. Salvador Guerrero, M.B.A., is the Overseas Market Development Corporation official representative for Honduras and Nicaragua. He is responsible for providing clients with market research, business development services, strategic consulting, representation, sourcing, and related company services for Honduras and Nicaragua.

He has over 20 years working in senior management positions for consumer product companies. Previous work includes broad experience in the food sector, especially from the engineering, production process, quality control, statistical process control, and logistical side of operations.

From 1999-2005 he was a professor of advanced management, business planning, and entrepreneurship at the Technical University of Honduras. Since 2005, Professor Guerrero has acted as an independent consultant to banks, government agencies, and foreign development organizations.

His skills include market research, consulting with companies on business processes, trade show representation, preparing business and marketing plans, product promotions and advertisement, feasibility studies, market development, locating distribution partners, sourcing local products, conducting due diligence on businesses, providing quality control services for international firms purchasing Honduran and/or Nicaraguan exports, and advising companies on strategic issues related to doing business in Honduras and Nicaragua.

He is fluent in English and Spanish and has traveled extensively in the region.

He received his engineering degree from National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico City, and an MBA from the Technical Institute of Monterey, in Mexico. He spent a year on a student exchange program at the University of Texas, taking graduate studies in marketing.
